Vendor and Exhibitor Information for Spring Affair 2009!
Spring Affair is a unique annual event held at the Nebraska State Fair Park . Scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2009, this special celebration of Spring grows larger in participation and attendance each year. The audience includes home owners, gardeners, crafts people, horticulturists, ecologists and herbalists.
Product Focus. We welcome commercial exhibits related to annual flowers, trees, shrubs, vegetables and other gardening products and materials. Plants listed as being offered for sale by Spring Affair, in the 2009 Spring Affair News, may be sold by commercial exhibitors with permission, or if they are one gallon size or larger. These may include, but are not limited to perennials, herbs, wild flowers and grasses and vegetables. We reserve the right to restrict the sale of plants or items that are not appropriate for the audience. On the Exhibitor Contract, please provide a description of the items you wish to offer for sale.
Exhibit Space. All exhibit spaces are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Outdoor spaces are 20'x20'. See enclosed map describing exhibitor areas.
Pricing. Outdoor spaces are $50 each. Tables are $5, chairs are $.50. All spaces and equipment MUST BE RESERVED AND PAID IN ADVANCE. The pre-paid tables and chairs will be distributed during setup time. Some electrical service is available at no charge. Educational organizations selling memberships or products will be considered commercial exhibits and must pay commercial fees.
Payments. All spaces, tables and chairs must be reserved by mail or in person and paid for no later than April 4, 2009. Reservations can be made in person, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Space Rental Office, Administration Building , State Fair Park . Refunds. No refunds will be made.
Liability Clause. The Nebraska State Board of Agriculture, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum will assume no liability for injury to property or person on or about the Nebraska State Fair Park and will not be responsible for damage to exhibits, merchandise or concessions caused by theft, wind, hail, fire or water, or any cause whatsoever.
Insurance. Exhibitor agrees to carry public liability insurance, including products coverage, in the amount of $1,000.00.00. Personal injury for each occurrence and $1,000,000.00 aggregate. The property damage will be $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and $1,000,000.00 aggregate. Said insurance will be with an insurance carrier acceptable to the Nebraska State Board of Agriculture and will name the Nebraska State Board of Agriculture, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum as an additional insured. Evidence of such insurance must be provided to the Nebraska State Fair Park , Space Rental Office, Lincoln , NE no less than ten (10) working days prior to the Spring Affair event.
